I got home from work tonight to find a message on my voice mail from my old paramedic buddy, Jeff. Seems the guy has gotten himself 15 minutes of fame in the NY Times. Jeff and I go back some years. I got him his job at St. Mary's Hospital in Brooklyn, was his medic partner on occasion, and then his boss. Glad to see him out there, still fighting the good fight.
Jeff, I'm proud of ya buddy! I'm 98 at my PAR!

Very, very happy to make it into one of my favorite lit mags, Scaffold Lit!
This one simmered in my head for about a month, tinkering and thinking
about it...

How fab! You have every reason to be proud, BG x
It's always a pleasure when your work, job and passion are recognized and printed in a major publication like the NY Times.
I imagine I'd be proud too.
Okay, since you removed the link, can you tell us WHY he got those 15 minutes of fame?
