Mr. Nighttime becomes Mr. NyQuil........

In between sneezing fits and hacking up a lung, I will try to get something up soon.

I knew that the luck of not having a cold for over a year would run out at some point, but did it have to be this past holiday weekend when the weather was so nice? Oh well, I watched everyone else enjoying themselves from under my covers.........Bloody ingrates..........How dare people enjoy themselves when I am keeping Kleenex and Robitussin in business single-handedly.......

No, it's not "man-flu," so don't even go there, ladies...........

Not man-flu? Are you sure? You're a man, aren't you? LOL!

Just kidding. It stinks, I know. I hope you feel better soon!

You have to - I've only just found your blog and I need input!!

I'd never heard the term "man-flu" until I encountered it here.... I googled it, but before I saw the answers, I thought maybe it was a hangover of something. Guess I've been out of the loop.

Anyway.

I HATE having colds or flu, particularly since I can't take any decongestants, and cough suppressants are absolutely out of the question--they all make me feel so dreadful and weird. I have to do the "all natural remedies" routine, though all I want to do is stamp on every last symptom with any chemical available and be unconscious until it ends. So you have my profoundest sympathy--I hope you get well soon.

Pah - just take Q's route to ..... errr ....... nowhere.

Bloody men.

(Do get better soon though, won't you? That way I can insult you even more - YAY!)

Jay - Thanks for the good thoughts, and I have visited your blog, will comment soon, I promise!

Holly - I don't take a lot of stuff, and I had to break down for the Robitussin. It did break up the cough so I am able to get the phlegm out, though my chest is REALLY hurting....As for "natural" remedies, I need to be extremely careful, as not everything plays well in the sandbox with my transplant medications. I can't take things like Ginko, and other such herbal supplements as they can go against those same meds.

Zoe - Thank you ma'am, may I have another? ;-) If you weren't insulting me, I would wonder if something was wrong......and thanks for the get well wishes.....
