Okay, so it is 49 degrees outside, the wind is whipping up a storm, and it is going to pour cats and dogs later.........This is spring?
If (man - made) global warming is indeed a reality, then Rochester must be an oasis.......

Sounds as though you'd feel quite at home in Scotland...
LOL, I've been to Scotland in March......It's nicer..... ;-)
Having lived in Rochester all my life, our late Springs have been getting colder and wetter in the last few years than from I recall.
I also think that my age -a young 40+er- may have something to do with it. But not much.
Too cold and wet for this time of year.
Ah, the forever unpredictable nature of 'the weather': living in Belgium (Europe) we know all about it.
28°C/82F last week (warmest spot in Europe, with Spain suffering from poring rain), 65°F and a gray sky over Antwerp, Belgium today.
You know, I got an offer to stay a couple of days in Spain this summer. You'd imagine I would be thrilled, but imagining 100°F summer heat is too much to bear for someone from a rainy kingdom by the sea.
In general I try to avoid sounding like the weather channel, but hey, I just wanted to say hello after your very friendly comment over at my blog ;-)
All the best from Antwerp, Belgium

Peter,
Thanks a bunch! It has finally warmed up here, now in the low 70's, and the folks at the Senior PGA Championship that is being played here are happy again.....If you're a golf fan, you're happy too.....
