No joy in Mudville...

I didn't get the public relations job. I don't know why as of yet, as I just found out late today. I'm going to call tomorrow to see if there is anything I could have done better, or at least why I wasn't chosen.

Unreal, and I was stunned. I have been through this so many times in the past few years, and it is really wearing on my soul. This was the best opportunity to come along in some time, and if I can't even get something like this, I don't know what I'm going to do...

On the plus side, it looks like I picked up a new client for my writing business, so maybe this is a sign to go full-bore into my freelance business, and damn the torpedoes.

Really sorry to hear this. Great news on the new client though, perhaps it's a sign of things to come. Love n hugs BG Xx

Sorry the PR job wasn't offered to you, but hang in there... there is surely a better job waiting on you. In the meantime, keep on freelancing and good luck!

Just read the story.

I'm kind of stunned too: you were the right guy in the right place.

Sorry to hear it somehow went wrong, for reasons none of us understand.

Keep the faith.

I thought it was all a dream but now that I see this post I realise that you really did go to bed after our chat yesterday.

I'm really sorry that you didn't get the job and I am sure that you will find something even better soon, but that never really helps, does it?

Be positive, hugs Zxxx

Always look for a positive. Sorry what you wanted didn't work out, but as you say, maybe the freelance job will be better for you?

Still, that sucks.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear you didn't get this one. :(

Don't be discouraged. I think it's just a sign of the times. Companies these days hardly need a reason not to hire you, because they have their pick, sometime from hundreds of applicants. Could be something as simple as they don't like the colour of your hair, or you won't fit into the chair you'd be using. Who knows?

Don't let it get you down. Probably nothing to do with you or your skills.

I once did not get a job I wanted. My mother said, that's because something better is coming. Hold on to that thought Mr. N., something much better is on its way.
