I'm not ignoring you...

...I'm just taking it easy. I want to tell all of you about my great time in NYC, but it will have to wait another day or so. Seems as though I picked up something while down there. I first thought it was allergies, but it is becoming apparent that I picked up some sort of upper respiratory infection. I lost my voice for 3 days, and it is still wobbly. I am hacking up a lung, and was feeling better today, but it seems to have turned back and sucker punched me again.

My mom called today and told me that she now has what I have, so that sort of confirms that this was not from allergies.

Off to the doc tomorrow.

Uh oh. Is mom going to run there and take care of you? LOL Or will she lay the guilt trip on you for giving it to her?

Sorry it wasn't allergies. At least THAT you can handle on your own. You going to the doctor?

Lung hacking I've found is a true talent. Hope you put it too good use.

Thanks all for the good wishes. The doc was not in today, so I'll be going tomorrow morning. I now know of a few other friends that have come down with the same symptoms, so there is definitely something afoot.

Kimberly - Yes indeed. I'm trying to make the national Lung Hacking Olympic Team next year... ;-)

Hope you're still up to the journey to the doc tomorrow. Get well soon - what a way to end a trip.

Ugh ... do you have the new H1N1? Don't tell me, there are plenty of other viruses out there. I know. ;)

I hope you feel better soon!

Um, sure sounds like the flu -- and it's not flu season, which would lead me to I agree with jay! There's a lot of if going around, you know!

Do take good care --
