While this might seem like a huge jump, it actually is a better configuration for us, and if we need to, we can always add on more performances if the demand is there. We usually average between 120-150 per performance anyway, so this is probably a good move for us.

This is going to be offset with a far bigger stage area than we have now, as we will be effectively doubling our performance area. We're going from a traditional proscenium stage to a thrust stage, with the audience sitting on three sides. A final set of blueprints have been just about approved, with some adjustments being made, so we will be ready to go as far as construction is concerned very shortly.

Actually, it is a bit of an unusual November, not so much because of the snow as the low temps. It is bitterly cold here, more like January weather. Then again, we were due for this, as we have not had a November like this for some time, though I suspect that this is a harbinger of things to come for this winter.Mr. Nighttimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09546329409708860876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7342018740029766616.post-38121140561445008762008-11-23T07:56:00.000-05:002008-11-23T07:56:00.000-05:00I assume the amount of space will differ significa...I assume the amount of space will differ significantly from the previous location.

Oh yes, the snow is kind of unusual for me to watch - I often forget how close to Canada you actually are.Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01154038964967283580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7342018740029766616.post-43043034549335160972008-11-23T01:44:00.000-05:002008-11-23T01:44:00.000-05:00An exciting 60th anniversary it will be.An exciting 60th anniversary it will be.VioletSkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222821877918680480noreply@blogger.com
